I came across an article, recently, that featured a woman that has done just that. The article profiles Karen Aird, a gift shop owner that sells miniatures for wooden dollhouses. I have been amazed by the many stories of other people who have also made miniature dollhouses a hobby.
While reading the article, I got a sense of the popularity of the wooden dollhouse hobby craze. Karen teaches classes on the hobby, classes that include girls, boys and adults. The wooden dollhouse hobby is indeed a hobby for life.
